La Scala at Vanderbilt Beach is a beautiful mid rise with 4 floors of residential over under building parking that is open aired. As so many buildings in the Vanderbilt area, La Scala is an intimate enclave with a total of 19 units in all. There are 5 units per floor with just 4 units on the top floor. The south end unit on top floor benefits from an outdoor terrace.
Built in 1992 with all 3 bedroom/ 2 bath units that measure approximately 1550’ square feet. Considered among the “newer” buildings one discovers ceiling heights that approach 9’ feet verses the older buildings that offer lesser heights.
Perched on the sparkling bay waters with a pool, spa, and a devoted BBQ station that features its own platform integrated into the structure of the dock. La Scala has 12 boat slips in all with lifts allowed. The slips are subject to a Sovereignty Submerged Lands Lease with the State as well as a 6% sales tax upon transfer.
A public wooden catwalk provides access to the Gulf directly across the street. The public access areas to Vanderbilt Beach are small and innocuous without any parking available. It is the exception not the rule that you find many public beach goers here for most elect to enjoy the main beach access points at the north and south end of Vanderbilt beach with parking, rest rooms, food service and more.
One is allowed to lease their unit up to 4 times per year with a 30 day minimum. Pets are not allowed.
Boater’s enjoy access to the Gulf via Wiggins Pass with the 19’ foot Bluebill bridge to clear. Boaters please keep in mind that the areas waters are shallow with no more than a 3’ foot draft which is typical of much of coastal areas in Naples.
