Vanderbilt Landings consists of two bright white bay front high-rises that herald your arrival as you reach the Bluebill bridge that carries you over Vanderbilt Bay’s waters to the north end of Gulf Shore Drive.
They are the only buildings on Vanderbilt Bay that live to the Gulf with secondary vistas to the bay waters where the buildings are situated. Quite extraordinary that way.
They are similarly constructed as 10 story high-rises with 9 floors of residential over their under building carports and entry foyers. There are in total 72 units with 36 units in each building and 4 units per floor. An entry foyer provides access to each buildings elevator. Catwalks lead to the units. All 2 bedroom 2 baths with an eat-in kitchen that is sometimes referred to as the “den”. They range in size from 1340’ square feet to 1359’.
Vanderbilt Landings A is sited north of Vanderbilt Landings B. They are enjoined as one condo association. Parking includes 18 under building carports a piece or an assigned open space with extra guest parking. Each unit enjoys extra storage as well as under building bike storage.
Since their documents have remained silent regarding their lease policy a new lease policy is under consideration. Stay tuned. Suffice to know, today at least 12 leases are allowed per year with a 30 day minimum. Pets are not allowed.
Picture perfect grounds host the community pool, 2 tennis courts, bocce court and chickee hut with barbecue grills.
There are 10 boat slips with lifts allowed. They are privately owned and inured to their own association, The Vanderbilt Landings Boat Dock Club, Inc. Owners are allowed to lease or sell their slips to other owners in Vanderbilt Landings exclusively.
Vanderbilt Landings shares deeded beach access with its neighbor, The Vanderbilt Yacht and Racquet Club, via a locked gate directly across the street. A special stretch of beach just enough distance from the bustle of the much loved Delnor Wiggins State Beach Park to stake your private spot on the sugary sand. Close enough to the State Beach Park to walk its unfettered Gulf front landscape where for a moment the whole world may fade away and it’s just you, the shore birds and the magical blue sea. As it fills daily with its devotees you have the option of enjoying its delightful array of beach amenities from BBQ grills, kayak rentals, nature tours and more.
